The Ride Home

My brother Jon brought my bike back from Northern Wisconsin in the back of his pickup truck, so we stopped at his house on our way home and I rode it the rest of the way home. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm hit while we were half-way between Sauk City and Spring Green. The lightning was spectacular, but the visibility was poor and it was quite windy.

4th of July Ride

On the 4th of July I rode the Gandy Dancer trail with my two brothers- Jon and Paul- and Paul's friend Brett. It was my first time riding a motorcycle on trails, and the first time the KLR saw anything worse than gravel town roads. It was "an adventure", but I managed to keep the bike upright despite a few close calls.

I rode 20 miles tonight, just a loop through the neighborhood. Saw 4 deer and many rabbits.
